Chili Lime Cashews

Miss hanging out with friends? I sure do, but have hope that we will arrive at some sense of normal soon — albeit different than before, but with a few changes for the better.

Sometimes simpler is better, which is a philosophy that also works well for snacks. Today’s Chili Lime Cashews pack simple, focused flavor that will make you feel like you’re in the limelight. Buttery cashews spiced with Aleppo and Chiltepin chilis burst with a salty citrus bite. Make a double batch and store in the freezer, if they last that long! When the times turn, this’ll be the snack of the town.

Chili Lime Cashews

Preheat the oven to 300˚

Make the chili lime cashews – Grind the Aleppo chiles, Chiltepin, True lime powder and salt together in a spice grinder. Toss the spices with the raw cashews and avocado oil.

Spread the cashews on a parchment lined rimmed baking sheet. Bake about 20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool to room temperature.
